Mother Goose’s Rhyme Time Surprise
As the newly appointed writer/director of the town’s annual Rhyme Time Variety Musical, Mother Goose has been given the assignment of presenting a show fit for a king, as the king will be attending. Auditioning for a part in the show is many of Mother Goose’s friends. Mother Goose is so worried about doing a good job that she develops writers’ block and loses her treasured words. Then the challenges pop up one after another as the stage crew quits, the wrong costumes are delivered, the set isn’t done, and the actors are missing. When Mother Goose thinks the show is over before it begins, Jack Horner and the audience come to her rescue. Songs include “Best Foot Forward” and “Rhyme Time Boogie Woogie”.
Serving as an excellent resource for reinforcing favorite nursery rhymes, this interactive energetic musical will inspire the children’s imagination, engage their thinking skills, encourage their perseverance with the message “if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again” and it will express the value of dependability and friendship.
