The Musical Story of the Preakness
This musical celebrates Maryland’s participation in horse racing’s Triple Crown event, from the race’s history with its riders and its horses, to the experience of first time race goers. Original songs include “Down the Stretch”, “Hats Off to the Jockey”, “Indelible Dancer”, and “Preakness Champions” are among the many musical selections included in this show recognizing the thrills, chills and horse shoe luck of the horse racing industry. Selected members of the audience serve as panelists in our horse racing trivia game show.
The Colonial Bride
This 50 minute presentation is a concert version of excerpts from Debi Wynn’s original full length musical based on an eighteenth century family in London Town, Maryland. Our story follows the William Brown family of three daughters at the on set of the American Revolution.
Songs include “Londontown”, “Elizabeth, Jane and Margaret”, “Dreams of Life in America”, “Wish Upon a Star”, “Wedding Invitation”, “The Peggy Stewart is Burning”, “Bundling Day”, “Waiting Around to be a Bride” and “New Beginnings”.
