About Us

Thirst "n" Howl provides edutainment, shows with educational value presented in an entertaining format, with our fifty minute to one hour interactive musicals for all ages. The mission of our company is to present educational programs of historic, scientific and social content delivered with music in an entertaining format for audiences of all ages.

For the past twelve years, Thirst "n" Howl’s original musicals, written by Debi Wynn and Ellis Woodward have been presented to audiences in the Mid-Atlantic states, Ohio, Texas and North Carolina.

Music directors Ellis Woodward and Herb Merrick guide our casts from the first drafts of each show through to the first performance. Each of our talented performers brings to the Thirst "n" Howl production company a background of impressive theatre experience as on-stage artists. They also have experience as classroom teachers, museum educators, and education workshop instructors, bringing to their roles the educational background that contributes to the edutainment quality of our musical history, science and social studies shows.
